Subject: Update from SGN – gas network upgrade in Coulsdon Road, Croydon
Dear Stakeholder,
We need to carry out safety-critical work to upgrade the gas network in your area. This needs to go ahead now, rather than wait until the pandemic passes, to ensure your local community continues to receive a safe and reliable gas supply.
We shouldn’t need to interrupt gas supplies to homes or businesses, and our engineers won’t be calling at residents’ home.

Phase two:
  • On 11 May 2020 for approximately 6 weekswe will be working on Coulsdon Road at the junction with The Crossway and Keston Avenue
    • We will need to implement multi-way signals to ensure the safe flow of traffic
    • During this time, we will also need to implement a road closure on Keston Avenue at the junction with Coulsdon Road
    • A diversion will be in place via Taunton Lane and The Glade
  • Please note, we will be monitoring Government guidelines and will only carry out this work during this time if local schools remain closed
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout

Please note, we have further phases to complete as part of this project. Once these phases have been finalised, we will be able to provide you with further details nearer the time.

We’re working closely with UK Government and public health bodies to make sure we work safely and in line with expert advice during the coronavirus outbreak. We have extra safety precautions in place to protect our colleagues and our customers from catching or spreading the virus as we carry out our safety-critical project.
There’s more information about our coronavirus preparations on our website: sgn.co.uk/coronavirus
Thank you for your understanding and support during these challenging times.
Kind regards,
Nicole McNab

CHILDREN'S POSTER COMPETITION_ MESSAGE FROM OUR LOCAL COUNCILLORS
We local councillors thought we’d offer the children in our patch something a little fun to do by launching a poster competition.

It’ll show off just how creative and talented our young people are, and brighten up our community in the process.

The winner in each category will get a voucher as a prize. Please find more information and instructions in the image.

We’ll announce the winner in a few weeks!

All the best,

Cllr Mario Creatura, Coulsdon Town
